R27 ACCESS RAIL
The low-profile 27 mm Access Rail system is designed for use as an adjustable anchorage point for rope access and fall arrest. It provides the operator freedom of movement at height and also the ability to lock into position while working. It’s ideal for vessel maintenance where the operator needs to be suspended over the side. The system is designed to withstand highly corrosive environments. Lightweight trolleys are constructed from 6061 aluminum. Torlon ball bearings handle high loads, reducing friction so the trolley moves smoothly along the low-profile rail. The adjustable pin stop allows trolleys to be moved along the rail and locked into a new location. The Harken Industrial 27 mm Access Rail system can be used for human suspension. The rails are independently tested, CE compliant under EN795.2012 Type D, meet ANSI Z359, and are OSHA compliant. The trolleys are independently tested, CE certified under EN795.2012 Type B, meet ANSI Z359, and are OSHA compliant.
R27 LONG-SPAN ACCESS RAIL
Great for Engine Room and Machinery spaces: Harken Industrial developed the Long-Span Access Rail (R27LS) as an alternative to its flagship R27 Access Rail system. Like the classic Access Rail system, the R27LS can be used for fall protection and for rope access. The R27LS system offers the same strong free-rolling ball bearing trolleys as the classic, but has a more robust rail profile, allowing it to handle longer spans without compromising strength. The system is ideal for both interior and exterior building maintenance and a variety of other work functions where the ability to work safely and efficiently at height is required. Support brackets are offered in a variety of styles for ease of installation, and for mounting on surfaces of different types and configurations. Special brackets are available to mount the system on metal roofs. The Harken Industrial 27 mm Long-Span Access Rail system can be used for human suspension. The rails are independently tested, CE compliant under EN795.2012 Type D, meet ANSI Z359, and are OSHA compliant. The trolleys are independently tested, CE certified under EN795.2012 Type B, meet ANSI Z359, and are OSHA compliant.
CLR MOORING WINCH
No other retracting, flush-mounted winch has offered the power-for-size ratio offered by the CLR. It stows completely belowdeck and occupies 40% less horizontal and less than 50% of the vertical space required by the previous market leaders. The CLR weighs just 33% of its competition while delivering comparable mechanical advantage.
This compact form makes it possible for yachts to mount two CLR winches at the stern quarters and one in the bow. Together, three CLRs can reduce the need for engine and thruster power while helping crews moor stern-to-dock.
The CLR employs unprecedented winch drum geometry. Five aluminum columns rotate together around a center axis. Working together, they create a very light drum that provides substantially more line-holding power and low-speed torque than would be available using a traditional drum.
The CLR offers internal LED lights at the bottom of each column for use in low-light mooring situations.
